Your walkthrough stays on your phone

The short version. GharTour makes property reels on your device. Your recorded videos, imported photos, property details, and your dealer name and phone number stay on your phone — GharTour does not upload them or store them on our servers. The app has no account and no login. We collect only a small amount of anonymous data needed to run the app, prevent purchase fraud, and understand which features are used. We do not sell your data or use advertising identifiers.
1Who we are
GharTour is a property-reel app built by Bircube for property dealers in Pakistan and South Asia. In this policy, “GharTour”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Bircube. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@bircube.com.
2The one thing to understand: it's on-device
GharTour records a property walkthrough, lets you tap room labels and add details, burns those into the video with your chosen template and branding, and exports a 9:16 reel — and all of that happens on your phone. The following never leave your device through GharTour and are never stored on our servers:
- Your recorded videos and any video or photos you import.
- Room labels, headline, plot size, location, price and other property details.
- Your dealer name and WhatsApp/phone number and any logo or brand colour you add.
- The finished reel. It is saved to your phone's gallery. It only goes anywhere else when you choose to share it.
Because there is no account, this data lives in the app's own storage on your device. If you uninstall the app, that on-device data is removed with it (reels you already saved to your gallery or shared are kept by you).
3What we do collect
To run the app, keep purchases honest, and improve GharTour, a small amount of data is processed. Here is all of it:

All of this travels over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection. The random install ID, free-tier counts and purchase verification are handled by our backend provider, Supabase (acting as our processor). We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise or approximate location, contacts, or an advertising ID, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.
4Camera, microphone & photo permissions
GharTour asks for these device permissions only to do its job. You are always asked first, and you can change them anytime in your phone's settings.
- Camera — to record the property walkthrough.
- Microphone — to record audio with your walkthrough and to record a voiceover.
- Photos / media — so you can import a video, add listing photos, or attach a location map, and so the finished reel can be saved to your gallery.
Granting a permission does not send anything to us — it lets the app use that feature on your device.
5Voice input (“Bol kar likhein”)
When you use voice input to dictate a room label or caption, GharTour uses your device's built-in speech recognition. Depending on the language and your device, your phone may send the audio to Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android) to convert speech to text — this is the operating system's own speech service, invoked when you tap the mic.
6Purchases (GharTour Pro)
GharTour is free to use. Optional in-app purchases (such as GharTour Pro — which removes the watermark and unlocks branding, all templates and batch export) are billed by the App Store or Google Play. Those stores process your payment; we never receive or store your card or bank details. We receive only the purchase receipt/token needed to unlock and restore what you bought, tied to your random install ID.
7Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share the limited data above only with the service providers that help us run the app:
- Supabase — our backend (install ID, free-tier counts, purchase verification), acting as our processor.
- Apple & Google — for app distribution, in-app purchases, and (if you use it) speech-to-text.
- Our analytics provider — anonymous, aggregated usage only, with IP-based location discarded and no advertising ID.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of GharTour and its users.
8Data retention
On-device content (videos, photos, property details, branding) stays on your phone until you delete it or uninstall the app. The limited server-side data — the random install ID and purchase verification records — is kept only as long as needed to run free-tier limits and honour purchases. Anonymous analytics are retained for a short period in aggregate.
9Children
GharTour is a business tool for property dealers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
10Your choices & rights
- Manage camera, microphone and photo permissions anytime in your device settings.
- Remove all on-device content by deleting your listings or uninstalling the app.
- Because we hold no account and only a random install ID, we can act on requests about that limited data — email info@bircube.com and we'll help.
11Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and its “last updated” date, and — where a change is significant — note it in a new app release alongside the updated store privacy details.
